If you had to define Noise Ladder (aka Nicolas Lafay) in one word, it would definitely be “maker.” For Nicolas, everything revolves around making, building, creating, and ultimately, transmitting. He discovered electronic and noise music at an early age. After experimenting with conventional electronic music gear, he began building his own setup using modular synthesizers, effects pedals, and modified objects. He now enriches his sonic universe by creating animated drawings, presenting audiovisual performances. Additionally, he works as a library and media educator at an international school.
