Oto No Ha

Oto no ha – Sound of leafs

Hochiwah Live

Hochiwah is an exploration of sound and a magical attempt by Mars Goodwater (BE), one half of Pairi Daeza, and the newest addition to Parasite Jazz. Hochiwah opens an intimacy to the outside, presenting an odd travelogue where self, other and environment glide together, full of sincerity and intuitions, cultivating fantasy and playful poetry.
Florian Tuercke is an artist, musician, and creator of original instruments. Emerging from his long-string sound installations, the Longboardharp has evolved into a project of its own: a semi-acoustic string instrument conceived, built and performed by the artist. Paired with a custom built soundsystem featuring wood-membrane loudspeakers, the Longboardharp creates a rich and distinctive sonic environment. In performance, Tuercke explores the instrument’s unique sound, moving between and beyond genres and musical traditions.
Antez is a percussionist and sculptor who explores the sound matter by interviewing the physical perception of sound. He studied drums with the musician Jacques Givry, electroacoustic music with composer Xavier Garcia.
He plays improvisations and offers sound installations, has collaborated with theater, dance, film and played with bands and musicians like Art moulu, La Cellule d’Intervention Metamkine, Seijiro Murayama, Fabrice Césario, Tim Hodgkinson, David Chiesa and Jérôme Noëtinger.
